hi, ive actually been to Conrad Rangali, Six Senses, Maalifushi and Amilla over the past year or year and a half, all for 7 nights or more. i would not say these are mid range properties. theyre probably second tier to highest, only surpassed by the likes of soneva, velaa, joali, etc. i will be visiting jumeirah in march - i have high hopes.

i think each property on your list has something totally different to offer and is generally good. the only property that i totally disliked was COMO Maalifushi (their sister property, COMO Cocoa Island is much better). beaches are very poor and when we were there, the water was not blue. more like black with coral rubble literally everywhere. we disliked it so much we left early. it was just a sad place overall that i have a hard time recommending with so many other amazing properties on your list.

amilla is probably the best run property of all the ones on your list (that ive been to) - GM is really amazing and the team is great. villas are lovely and modern, however the island is not super picturesque and the beaches are not the best ive seen. food is excellent and varies, and the dine around HB is at true dine around with really no restrictions or surcharges for specific restaurants. breakfast is out of this world here. beach villas are the best room category by far.

conrad is the prettiest island on your list IMO (lagoon is simply amazing). i will say that at minimum you will need to book a deluxe beach villa as the entry level villas are semi detached, not very private, and lack wow factor. we stayed in a grand WV which i realize yoiu might not be interested in, however they were wonderful with so much glass everywhere. food at the a la carte restaurants was divine (plus u have the added bonus of ithaa). breakfast on the other hand... really bad. very mass market, huge buffet with poor quality and lots of options. we had breakfast at vilu every morning since it was a la carte and much better, but i am not sure if kids are allowed there.

six senses is quintessental maldives when it comes to architecture and the ocean beach villas with pool are my favorite villas ive experienced to date of the 20 odd islands ive been to. impeccably designed, super private, and just overall an amazing room. my one gripe with SSL is that management is very much so so, and there is far too much seagrass everywhere. the island used to be very pretty several years ago, and it still is, but the lagoon has lost many of the wonderful shades of blue since they are overrun by seagrass now. management is reluctant to remove it due to environmental reasons. food was very good (leaf = amazing), and the snorkeling here in terms of hard coral is by far the best on your list of places ive been to.

overall i would go back to any of these except Maalifushi.
