I dislike the C1 portal immensely waste of time as lack of availability or higher prices. yes, you can make a purchase then request refund but ti wastes time.
Best option is book a refundable ticket get the $300 credit, cancel event and total AF is reduces to $95.00 . . Decent deal for me at $96.00 plus I got 75k SUB.
