I would try again online it could be BA IT is flaky. If not it might be worth calling, if only to report the problem. I always printout everything just in case these days but I guess it's always useful to have it in your hands just in case. I think the holiday line isn't as busy, certainly if you can wait until next week when the uk schools are back then it should be easier to get through

So I called the silver line a few days ago, and the agent I spoke to said she would arrange for an ATOL certificate to be emailed to me. I have just had a voicemail saying that my booking “would not receive an ATOL certificate because it starts in Jersey - but it will receive international package protection” (my booking is a for 7 night trip from Jersey to the US, with 5 hotel nights in various US cities, and I realise I should have mentioned this earlier) .
I am not quite clear what is meant by “international package protection” - but it would seem from the voicemail that the booking is being regarded as a holiday booking. But I still wonder if I might encounter problems in the event of double TPs not being posted. Again, I would be most grateful for any advice.
