OP….you’ll see nobody at all in 1A on a B763 on takeoff so be prepared and don’t get bent out of shape when you don’t see a pilot sitting there.

The crew rest curtain is stored in the closet just in front of that seat, thus 1A is the designated pilot rest seat on this airplane.

It’ll all make sense 20 minutes after takeoff…
