Possible, but as of now the lounge is offered when I login to prioritypass.com with my American Express credentials.
SPECULATION: There are a number of things that Chase could do for Sapphire Reserve cardholders to improve their experience:
- Priority entry when the lounge is near capacity
- Reserved seating areas
- Waive the 3 hour stay limit
- Waive any limit on guests
- Upgraded alcohol
....but as yet, Chase has not announced anything, that I have seen.
While that seems plausible, unless Chase is able to massively expand their network quickly (such that the Sapphire lounges outnumber the AMEX ones), that really doesn't seem all that competitive with what AMEX or C1 are offering from their 1st party lounges.
That said, the CSR is already worse than both AMEX and C1 for lounges (no Plaza Premium), so it's possible that Chase prefers to differentiate in other areas (travel insurance, more easily redeemable travel credit, etc) rather than compete as strongly on the lounge situation.
