It's funny you say this, because I just passed through SEA for the first time since early 2022, and I found the N concourse lounge utterly awful compared to the one in C I've used in the more recent past. (Assuming I'm correctly identifying the huge, warehouse like, cold, noisy space I was in correctly as the N lounge...) I'd visit the Alaska Lounge in C or D before N any day, personally, but I like cozy corners more than wide open spaces. Industrial design looks cool, but I don't find it relaxing or rejuvenating in the middle of a long travel day. (Also note: I find open floor plan homes with exposed kitchens awful, noisy, and stinky, too, so I'm simply not modern in this sense!)
The bartender/barista at PDX Alaska Lounge always seems able to make a real espresso macchiato for me, when I ask, whereas at SEA Concourse N, I ended up with a sweetened Starbucks-esque milkshake sugar bomb thing I had to throw away. Possibly, this occurs because the server can't hear a dinosaur like me over the roar of a big, concrete room lacking soft furnishings?
