Aspire has never had another name. The mid-grade card, Surpass, was briefly called Ascend. In any event, you can ask American Express to list every card that you have held.
Do not prompt them by asking, "Have I held Hilton Aspire?. If they do not mention Aspire you probably have not held it, and in any event there should be a pop-up warning if you apply and are not eligible for the bonus.
