Might want to look into VOIP.ms. I ported my old cell number to it years ago that I didn't want to lose but had it autoforward SMS/calls/etc. to my new office mobile number. Saved me quite a few dollars going from $30/month to basically around $5/year to just refill the account for forwarding purposes (depends on how much its used I guess). SMS verfication numbers, etc. all work well.
