Gas Leak At LAX Prompts Evacuation; 4 Sickened, 1 In Grave Condition
Four people were sickened with one person in grave condition Monday due to a hazardous material leak Monday at a baggage area at Los Angeles International Airport's Terminal 8. The Terminal has been cleared of passengers due to the hazardous materials investigation by the Los Angeles Fire Department, according to LAX.
The people became overcome by carbon monoxide fumes, according to reports from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
