Tumi is garbage not because their warranty is only a year. They are garbage because they made a bag that cannot have a zipper replaced. That is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind paying to have my bag fixed if it came to that. But to not be able to fix a bag? That is a nonstarter for me.
I’m fairly certain a zipper can be repaired unless your bag was truly damaged beyond reason.
I’ve used Tumi luggage for years and hundreds of thousands of miles and I’ve never encountered any issue with the zippers.
