You can open an incognito window via File - New Incognito Window. Then Inspect opens on the right of the current page. Then the little phone/tablet icon is very small in that window, top left - 2nd button. Then in the left portion of the screen you can hopefully see a pull down of screen emulations. Then I assume you can just type "unitedwifi.com" into the Url bar and goes to the page. If you need to emulate different phones/tablets, you can click the settings gear icon in the right side. Looks like Chrome has some standard ones like iPhones already selected. Hope this helps. Will let people know if this works.
I just posted this from my United flight from my laptop on free Tmo wifi. Some items to keep track of:
1. Even in Chrome Icognito mode, the browser remembers your cookies. It would not let me go to "Unitedwifi.com" and kept on redirecting me to United.com's wifi info page because I had visited it before. I deleted all my cookies (means I have to log back into other sites again, but didn't want to go look for the specific cookie(s) to delete).
2. Tmo activation recognizes if you already using the same telephone number on a device and says so. You can use another Tmo number if you have one.
3. Logging into your MP account will not allow you to switch devices with Tmo free wifi. It says you don't have a wifi plan.
