It's said that BA is following Spanish rules, but most other UK airlines such as Jet 2 and Tui haven't had mask wearing to or from Spain for a LONG time, so why are BA insisting on this? Is it something to do with BA being under the IAG group which is HQ in Madrid I think. As stated above, it seems very silly now.
Different airlines will have different solicitors who may interpret legislation differently, even within the same group of companies – Aer Lingus and Vueling each have different rules to BA. There will also be a different level of risk each is prepared to take.
