I attempted to get into the HND ANA lounge twice this past week (return trip). The first time was around 10pm on a Friday and the second time was at 8pm on a Monday. Denied both times and was told the lounge was "very busy." Airport didn't seem too busy to me, but ANA does have a tendency of grouping a bunch of US-bound flights around the same time. Interstingly, the second time around it sounded like they hadn't accepted any PP users for the entire day. Gate agent was apologetic - I'm curious how often they have to repeat the same thing to all the PP users trying to get in.

Anyways, PP is not a reliable option at HND so I wouldn't bank on it. Plan on just bumming it out at the gate or the tiny food court.
