There are two options at amazon.co.jp, one translated to download, which is likely a eSIM as there are no delivery fees and one which will be send to the customer by mail. It's possible to order it to address outside of japan, but they charge ¥1490 as a fee for that. But that would only make sense if they send the physical SIM card, and not just a code to get one later or a code to get a eSIM. That's why I'm asking here.
