That's kind of interesting that the Marriott Empire Place Bangkok timeshare is showing up in the Marriott.com website. I don't think I've ever seen it listed on the Marriott.com site and only on the Marriott Vacation Club (timeshare) or Interval International (timeshare trading site) website. I've seen the Marriott Phuket Beach Club (timeshare) when searching on the marriott.com site though.
We stayed at the Marriott Empire Place timeshare for a week, maybe 5 or 6 years ago through a last minute timeshare stay. Even though it was just the two of us, we actually got the three bedroom unit for no extra charge because it was a 30 days or less "flex exchange" booking. They have very nice 1-3 bedroom timeshare units or villas that are part of the Marriott Vacation Club in a high-rise luxury condo building; not sure if they have dedicated floors, as there are regular residences there too.
Fully equipped kitchen, in room washer and dryer and Marriotts (most?) provide the laundry detergent. Master bedroom and bathroom were nice and the master bath had a ridiculously huge bathtub-forgot how long it took to fill up but didn't do it again!. I think the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were kind of on the smaller size but the living and dining room area was spacious. Daily maid/housekeeping service too and we just closed the 2nd and 3rd bedroom doors and told the maids that we weren't using those rooms. They had a pool and an exercise room too. Maybe a tennis court, but can't recall for sure.
The closest BTS station is Chong Nonsi, easy 10-15 minute walk but if you've got little kids or lots of luggage there are some stairs to deal with at that station. Taxi cabs seem to have a difficult time finding the place. If your cab/Grab overshoots it, you're better off getting out and walking back a little, instead of having them go back around because traffic is pretty crowded there and it'll take much longer.
It is a really nice property. Maybe Marriott Vacation Club is going to add the Empire Place units as hotel rooms on the marriott.com site then?
