Oh WOW. I emailed the Marriott Lurker email here and they said NO... "As a result of the impact of COVID-19, we extended all Free Night Awards that expired on or before 6/29/22 to 6/30/22 and we are not able to extend your Free Night Award further." (my 50K cert was not extended in June)
Also submitted another request on the Marriott website's contact form and they said YES............................................... .................................................. ........ I checked and it was extended by a year.
The Elite support is seriously WORSE than the normal customer support now............................................... ....
