Wow. This reminds me of the one terrible AVML I had on UA -- they used to be great. Business from FCO to IAD, man, it was terrible. Boiled veggies and some plain pasta thing. The flight attendant looked at it, felt sorry for me, and found me a spare economy (also bad, but better) veg pasta to eat.

Thanks, this makes sense to me. Without the veg order the rest of the meal could be not good for me. I am veg, not vegan, but I guess I'll stick with Asian AVML and cross my fingers. Thanks for the advice! I'll report back, of course.
