I’d be willing to bet that, if you posed this question in the respective airlines’ threads, you would get pretty-evenly-divided responses

I refer to this as “Newton’s Law of the Online Forum” — for every self-proclaimed expert opinion, there’s at least one equal and opposite self-proclaimed expert opinion
