trying to upgrade one leg of an upcoming business trip, buyups are showing as available on the app/dl.com, still somehow getting “you’ve purchased the delta comfort experience and may only select the associated seats” message.

medallion desk not much help, say “it’ll be available when it’s available “. This is a corporate reservation FWIW (was successful in purchasing buyups on these types of tickets multiple times in the past)

any tips?
