Hello all,

New Platinum customer via a status match. I see Basic, Light, & Plus fares. I am traveling with a companion and we each have 20kg bags. Do I need to purchase the plus fare to get the 23kg bags included? Or does my Platinum status get me included checked bags with the light fare? We are flying domestically within Ecuador, Ecuador to Peru, and domestically within Peru.

I tried reading the elite status benefits on their page but is quite unclear. It just says "Additional checked baggage on LATAM flights*".

Also Platinum benefits page says I should receive LATAM+ seats... but when I go to purchase the flight the app tries to sell me all seats (none are free). The app properly shows me as Platinum.. Is this correct?
