Ate sushi dinner for three here in Kyushu and paid with a US credit card, the total charge was $21.00 ($7.00 each after taxes), and it was very good sushi (sorry, no photos), what a bargain. I sure hope the US dollar at least stays in the 140 yen range or hopefully goes higher.
i picked up enough between 145 and 150 to last me for many trips going forward in case the yen starts recovering. I’m at the airport now waiting to board my repositioning flight before leaving for Tokyo tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to spend $7 on very good sushi!
