This choice to be a free agent - in part - depends on where you fly out the most from. If you’re around JFK/LAX/ORD etc. much easier to “not” be loyal….but if you’re based in MSP, for example, got luck flying non DL.
Alas I’m going to be a Delta ATL hub captive next year. (And given that basically everyone here has some level of DL status, seems like it’s better to be GM if I can make it)
