If the A380 is on time, a big if, then I would normally expect boarding to start about then. It remains T-20 as the external deadline, though it would a rare day when the last passenger on an A380 would have boarded by then. Flights are not supposed to leave more than 10 minutes early, and again that's somewhat academic for A380s.
ahh yes. My last experience went from just a gate open message in the lounge to flight closing when we got outside and a resulting jog when going through the tunnels to get there for T-20. Got there and at least a hundred people still to board. Wish they had more accurate messaging on the departure boards! The lounge staff were no help when asked either. They said go at T-60!
