So my question, which I suspect has been answered but I cannot find, is: what time should I get to the C gates for? I’m flying in F, but if I miss Group 1 will I be able to still whisk by the crowds given the 380 boarding jetways being different? I’ve rarely had a good LHR gate experience in long haul premium, but don’t want to leave the CCR and have to linger around the gate, but nor can I be particularly bothered to go to the B gates as a half-way point.
I am used to SH and arriving at the gate at T-25, but know LH is a different game. And I’ve forgotten how to play…pan-pan!
as infrequent F flyers (leisure only) we really like to get the full experience, so aim to board a T-45 to give us time to change into the PJ’s, settle into the seats, read the menus and have a couple of glasses of LPGS.
Make sure you go upstairs and use the J bathrooms for changing as they are much bigger than the F bathrooms.
