Tumi is garbage. Their warranty is for a year, not lifetime.

I have a tumi bag get a zipper mangled by an airline in asia. Not only was it not warrantied, it was not possible to fix. The bag was essentially destroyed by the zipper.

Get the away bag or another bag that actually supports you. For $800-$1000 its not worth the risk.
