Stayed here last week for a few nights, in a Wraparound Terrace Suite.
Some notes:
- I really liked the room and property itself, actually.
- My status was at least useful to use the Autograph check-in room... and for absolutely nothing else.
- I did not like the nickel and diming - $11.50 to get a kettle (to boil water for tea...) brought up to the room is satirical. It's a petty amount of money, but come on. I guess they expect you to order room service every day instead of making tea/coffee yourself?
- I had specifically requested a room not facing Marquee, and on a high floor... and was given a room facing it directly, on a lower floor, and told I was in the "quiet tower". The day club noise is like being punched in the face with bass, even with all the sliding doors shut.
- I was asked if I wanted late checkout, and said yes. On the last morning after a late breakfast, returned to find ourselves locked out of our room at 11:15, and had to get the cleaners to let us in.
- As per years of posts in this thread, despite booking through marriott.com and havng my Bonvoy number attached, it has not posted, going on day 7/8. Do I really need to wait till day 10 after checkout and play the "Request Missing Stay" game? They did manage to at least e-mail me my PDF folio properly, so I can provide that.
