Same here as an AMB member. No upgrade even though Atlantikos, the main restaurant, was closed due to low occupancy. Both Astor Lux and Imperial Suite were showing as bookable on App when I checked in. The only tangible benefit as Bonvoy elite is the comp breakfasts which are excellent. The sushi and kushiyaki from St Regis bar are delicious as well.

The resort is luxurious and the view is wonderful. This resort is superb redemption value, especially for non-elites, for the Miami Beach area. Bonvoy Platinum could be the sweet spot as you get comp breakfasts. My real gripe is poorly managed minibar department. I am fighting a $100+ minibar bill which I didn't consume. You may want to double check or photograph the minibar when you arrive.
