Hertz at LAX seems to have switched to email-only, and directed me to go inside to get a paper receipt.

Also, when I picked up the car, it didn’t have any paperwork in it, and the rep at the exit gate said I would receive it by email. I asked for a paper printout to make sure the rate was as expected and to have something to show a cop if needed.
