Called 1K line twice, was told that my request is in the right queue and is waiting to be processed. When I called them after my in-laws got their response, they checked again and said it's still being processed and 1K line cannot do anything to help or expedite. Wow. So at least we know that in the eyes of the law(aka EU261) everyone is equal and status does not guarantee priority/expeditious resolution. It's been over two months now. If i don't hear back by Halloween, I will be very pissed and will call again
It took almost 2 months to respond. Send in another message and cite the case number. I reminded them at about 1.5 months and then got a response or so a week later.

We got ours approved fortunately. Offer of Euro 600, $1000USD UA travel voucher, or 50K miles.
