Yes. So long as there’s a seat available in your ticketed cabin, you can select it even if it the booking class available is higher than your ticketed booking class.

(NB: You will earn Avios/TPs as per original ticketed fare class and with SDC, a fare class change doesn’t occur when changing flights but merely a background revalidation of the ticket whilst maintaining the same fare class)
