LAS-LHR October 2022, WT+ meals.

Menu:

The butter chicken turned out to be quite popular, but I had the beef. I think the others may have had the better idea. The salad was fine. The main had rather tough beef. The crackers were a very dry water biscuit (I don't like cheese so I can't comment on that). Bread rolls were only available in boring white but were warm and fresh. The dessert was quite good.

For the second meal, I had the "herb chicken". The gnocchi were fine but the chicken had a rather dry outer crust. The bread roll was dry, but edible. The chocolate pot dessert was simple but nice. I suspect that 8 hours in the aircraft galley refrigeration had not improved the chicken - it exceeded expectations only because I was expecting a small sandwich or similar based on a BOS-LHR flight earlier in the year.

The meals were not awful, but not quite what I was hoping for as business-class meals (which WT is suppose to provide for a main meal).

Seared beef, sweet potato mash, broccolini, red wine demi glace

Herb chicken, gnocchi alla Romana, Bordelaise sauce
