The departure time for the ORD-LHR (AA 90) trip is 8:50 AM, so I'd have about 90 minutes to connect. I'm tempted to do it because I have historically not done well with overnight flights. I get no sleep on the plane and I'm pretty much a zombie all of arrival day. It'd be nice to try a daytime flight. But not if switching to a connecting flight in this situation would be a very stupid thing to do!
I know no one has a crystal ball and can tell me the connection would go off without a hitch. But is this at least a reasonable itinerary to consider? Or would you all not risk it?
Thank you!
91 mins is
plenty of time for that connection, especially early morning. The official minimum connect time (MCT) at ORD is 35 mins for a domestic to int'l connection like this, so you would have almost an hour extra over the MCT. Really nothing to worry about at all.
