Now we have to suffer through miserable codeshare experiences (everything is just complicated). FZ does not respect Skywards Elite status, often end up in middle seats. Prices are obscenely expensive (same as EK on routes they both serve), travel experience is underwhelming, ground bussing a pain in Dubai. FZ must be EK's most profitable operation.
Well flydubai was initially set up independently of Emirates and as a purely budget airline, albeit under the same owner. Once they became an alliance, the DECEPTION took hold, so it was no more budget given the pricing model, but serving largely different cities not requiring large bodied aircraft.
it is indeed the dogged failure to recognize elite Skywards status that is so frustrating. If you complain, they just do Not care! They may answer you once (if any), and tell you that we will deal with your complaint as "feedback" only. Feedback, my butt! They just bin it!!
The same wuth griund handling; the staff are careless and do not even try to address custiner complaints.
If one wants a budget airline, they are far better with Air Arabia ir other budget airlunes fkying from DXB or Maktoum, tgan flydubai.
