Last Sunday we had a night in at the Arima Grand Hotel.

It was a smaller (15sqm) renovated room and quite nice.

We had some pre-paid certificates (50% off) from when Kobe City had a stay local campaign. We were able to stack those with the national campaign and get ¥6,000 to spend (we went to JA and bought veggies and Kobe beef).

¥54,000 (2 adults, including nice dinner and breakfast)
-¥20,000 Kobe certificates
-¥10,000 national campaign
-¥6,000 coupons

so ¥18,000 net

Note: Sunday-Thursday gets you ¥3,000 per person, Fri/Sat only ¥1,000 per person. Makes a difference if you aren't solo.
