Thanks for this I've been flying in flex very freuqnet and was just curious to try to find out why the price differential has changed over the last 18 months. And I think you and YVR76 are probably right that its just that the lower buckets are just significantly cheaper due to competition from ULCCs. In my heart of hearts just hoped that the ULCCs would also bring down flex fares

Part of me wondering this was because I had been looking at this prices for a while (and perhaps my memory is faulty too!) and one day the basic and standard prices didn't seem to change while the flex fare went up by triple digits
