Speculation was that these meals sit in a coolbox on the ground for a long time before the return flight, but I'm not sure that was confirmed - or if it's standard for this particular flight? It does look like a poor offering considering that long band CE catering is now usually very good.
Thanks I hadn't seen this post. That said, I've taken that flight many times (not always but some times in CE) and don't remember ever getting a joke of a snack like that. So unless something has changed recently (but I think we would have had other reports), without having seen the whole discussion, I would have thought that was just a miscatering issue?
