I think the OP was referring to the experience he reported
here (tiny tray and tiny salad - not even a 'proper' CE salad). Speculation was that these meals sit in a coolbox on the ground for a long time before the return flight, but I'm not sure that was confirmed - or if it's standard for this particular flight? It does look like a poor offering considering that long band CE catering is now usually very good.
