How was Club lounge?
Across the atrium where our room was on the "Club Floor," was a heavy dark wooded room that was once the Club Lounge. But it has now been converted to a meeting room. This hotel now joins many other Sheratons that have a "Club Floor" with no Club Lounge. The manager told me that when they closed the Club Lounge for good, they did add free appetizers in the downstairs bar nightly, for what that's worth. Perhaps a booking on the Club Floor will get you breakfast coupons now as well? That may be but I don't know, as our breakfast coupons had "Platinum" printed on them.
Also, was flight arrival/depart. info. available in the lobby?
I didn't see anything like this, but then again I wasn't looking. But I don't think they have that.
The breakfast coupons were a very nice touch. It was a decent spread with ham and bacon and Frosted Flakes. A good deal.
Well, that description makes it sound a little sparse, which it is not. From 6am to 9am they have both the extensive Continental Breakfast Buffet and the full Hot Buffet with quite a spread of hot entrees. But after 9am, they fold up the hot stuff but keep the Continental going 'til about 11am if I recall. They do leave some of the hot stuff that's still leftover from the Full Breakfast buffet out during the Continental only portion. It sounds like you dined after 9am. But the Continental buffet is one of the best I've seen. Tons of different rolls, bagels, breads, donuts, cereals juices, milks, etc, etc.
The place could use a real business center.
Agree with you there. But perhaps with the Wi-Fi covering the entire hotel now, they figured they didn't need one as much anymore so they farmed it off to the gift shop to operate it (it's not even a Business Center really...just a counter with a computer, printer and some stuff on it). Though the all-complimentary Business Center at the nearby Four Points is really great by comparison. And Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the property at that Four Points. See my review of that hotel
