Sorry but you got it wrong. The booking class is not determined whether you choose Basic, Basic Plus or Flex. The booking class will be the same regardless which of the three you choose. The difference between the 3 can is rebooking, refund, fees etc but the underlaying booking class is the same for the 3 options. Try to have a look at the display of booking class in a dummy booking.
