The club room that's 6-8k less per night is a jr suite ocean view in the Preferred Club. All 3 room types have a similar layout, but with some better amenities for the club room (suite doesn't have them).
Just did a stay at the Secrets side and thought it was interesting that as a Discoverist, they upgraded me one tier to what is still considered the "standard suite" on points for each - partial ocean view jr suite (vs garden view jr suite). Decent ocean views, but the downside is they are a wedding factory (moreso than any other resort I've been to) and those wedding receptions are often in the pool area that the partial ocean view (and potentially the full ocean view) rooms overlook. One night had to turn on a white noise app to cover up the music. Just confirms my theory - zero reason to book a standard suite on points; if anything, go for the club room which is actually a higher tier room on resort than std suite (full ocean view, club benefits, etc.)

To answer some of the questions here, adults at both resorts have full cross-resort access to restaurants and I believe club guests at each get access to the other side's club amenities.

Overall, it was a decent resort and having Dreams next door as the 'rowdier' resort meant that we could go over there when we wanted a more upbeat vibe or stay at Secrets if we wanted to chill. good value for 21k/night offpeak.
