I must say that a much higher priority for me would be an F connection path for passengers connecting to/from an F flight.
I really don't mind the walk through GF to go to the CCR, and in fact, I think that the BA F security and lounge route for passengers originating at LHR is generally very good. By contrast, I do find the connection experience still very poor. Invariably, it makes more sense to exit entirely through immigration and reenter through the F wing, which is frankly not a normal/logical, and not acceptable situation for people flying paid F on connecting itineraries (a significant proportion of F pax). This gets even worse when having arrived somewhere at the C gates and schlepping all the back from connections be it in a crowded transit or through the long tunnels. It is on such connection experiences (and in my view, not in the context of LHR origin) that BA really lags behind LH let alone AF which offers an extremely smooth and accomplished connection and lounge access experience for transiting F passengers.
