So, many GGL's would eventually drop status in 2023, especially those who were flying for business and their company switched from in-person meetings that require travel to online video conferencing applications if applicable. There are some other examples such as their travel policy changed to active travel only which is related to a factory/manufacturing plant visit, conference/exposition, occasions where legal documents must be signed, etc... which means that many people who were GGL pre-COVID might not retain it with current circumstances unless they spend a lot of money out of their own pocket.

These people above would start dropping status at February 28, 2023 so I personally wouldn't make a conclusion on overcrowding until Fall 2023.

Also, during my multiple visits at the CCR within the last 3 months, I never saw it was overcrowded where it was difficult to find a seat ( although had occasions where all sets of seating areas at the terrace had at least one occupant ). I can't comment on busy UK holiday periods though.
