Well, I took the plunge and bought 10,000 Hilton Honors points for $100 with a 100% bonus. The 20,000 points in total credited to my account instantly. Not sure why they are offering 100% almost every month of this year, but it must be something to do with the devaluation of the program. However, it is a good idea to stay topped up with a few bought points because they can come in handy. I wouldn't throw money at a larger amount, this currency is more shaky than that of most 3rd world countries. But this way the potential loss is not too great.
