I guess I get to join the club. I had the surcharge around $16-$19 added in LAX and MCO despite filling up within 2-3 miles from the airport. It was probably the closest gas station to MCO. I called while at my gate to have both removed, but I do believe a class action national lawsuit needs to happen. I had the same thing removed from my past couple rentals. This is just national policy. They've already been sued for this and only paid like $10 million for false charges against government rentals. They need to lose based on the amount they're actually making off of it probably in the hundreds of millions ideally enough to bankrupt them before they'll stop because it's costing more than they're making.
