I'm glad to hear this hotel is being remodeled... the rooms were large but threadbare when I stayed there.

I had one bad experience late one night - I checked in and my assigned room has been slept in (opened door to towels on the floor, unmade bed). It took the hotel staff about 15 minutes to sort it out and find me a room that was unoccupied and clean... I did get Sheraton Promise Points for the trouble, but since I had misconnected and only had about five hours to sleep/checkout, those 15 minutes left a lasting impression.
