We were successful at trial and were somewhat surprised that BA had not offered to settle prior to the hearing. In addition to compensation for my wife’s downgraded ticket, we were also granted costs to cover the claim fee and hearing fee.
If you get the compensation it might nearly cover a long weekend in New York for two in WT+, which seems like a decent outcome to me.
