Adverse weather conditions today in LHR?
I am in the US waiting for a heavily delayed BA plane to take me back to Europe.
I just got a message from BA including this:
“We’re sorry to let you know that you may experience a delay in your travel plans today. This is due to adverse weather conditions around London Heathrow today, with air traffic restrictions being imposed around the airport. Safety is our number one priority, and we would never operate a flight unless it was safe to do so.”
Is the situation that bad in London weather-wise?
do you think this will be a justification enough to warrant not paying compensation for the delay?
Thanks for your input.
