I can't compare the two, but I was just at the Cape in a Thompson Suite and it was fabulous. We loved the extended balcony - spent a lot of time there drinking coffee in the morning and watching the surfers. I have lots of photos which I'll share on my blog. Feel free to ask any other questions.
