I applied for the Delta Status match on Tuesday, October 18th and noticed when I logged onto Delta 2 days later I had Platinum Medallion status (Matching from OneWorld Emerald). However, I have not received any type of communication from Delta whatsoever as of yet in regards to the status match. Has this happened to anyone previously or do they usually wait awhile before notifying you? I would have guessed they would notify you somehow BEFORE updating your new status online.
