I sort of addressed this in my other response, but honestly, I think the "CCR is the true F Lounge" is a bit of a cop out. And how does that explain the T3 GF then, where there is no CCR? Do you believe that F lounge compares favorably to other OW F Lounges? (admittedly, my experience w/T3 GF is limited as I have not been in that lounge for a long time, but I don't get the sense people regard it that favorably, even compared to other business class lounges in T3)

Fair enough. It's been sometime since I've been in a JAL F Lounge, but personally I haven't experienced significant crowding (though we strive to travel as off-peak as possible) in one. And you make a fair point about the food in the JAL F Lounge, that said, I've usually found the ambiance (e.g. crowding) to be better, but that is just my personal experience, and that at least helps. The T5 GF is in no way, whatsoever, relaxing, ever. As another poster mentioned, it feels like waiting at a Tube station...

I'll take your word for that, but if true, that is both sad and scary. Do you think that "Galleries First food and beverage is less worse than the Galleries Club" is the right mark to strive for?

And again, what you seem to be neglecting is that even things like the AA Flagship Lounges (and I don't mean Flagship First Dining) are often a better experience than the T5 GF lounge. How can that be? As mentioned, we recently used the MIA FL and it was far, far less crowded than GF, it had better wine (at least to my palate) on offer, better spirits, and though it is buffet, not a la carte, the food seemed much better, with a broader selection, than what I experienced on the T5 GF buffet the very next day. And again, the MIA FL, is a business class lounge, available to all OWS and non-status business class passengers. How do you explain/defend that?
